Jascots Imbibe

Chateau La Brie Pavilion de la Brie 2007, Monbazillac, France, £12.42

A classic blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle, but from Sauternes' little cousin.

A beautiful barley-sugar nose, and rich and unctuous in the mouth, without being cloying. Honeyed texture is light with good balancing orange peel acidity. Light on its feet with a clean pure finish. CA

Jean-Marie Haag Pinot Blanc 2009, Alsace, France, £10.17

Tight mineral nose with apple and pear. Incisive acidity and clean, crisp green-apple fruit. Good weight with a long, persistent finish. CA

Quercus Vineyard Pinot Noir 2008, Gippsland, Australia, £16.50

Bright purple in colour. Ripe, perfumed red-fruit aromas. Big and voluptuous with power and structure. Silky fruit with a long, even sexy, finish. Aseducer. CA
