Jascots to offer 24/7 delivery during Olympic and Paralympic Games
Written by Carol Emmas
Independent wine merchant Jascots is to offer a 24 hours a day, seven days a week, delivery service to its clients throughout the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Operating out of its warehouses in West London with its own fleet of vans, Jascots will be able to stockpile supplies before the games to ensure customers do not have issues with stock shortages during the busy period.
It plans to offer customers the option of receiving goods between 0200 and 0700 to ensure guaranteed delivery.
Jascots will also be working with its customers to see if they can stockpile supplies before the games if they have adequate storage space as well as identifying alternative delivery locations if normal access is affected.
Managing Director John Charnock, says: "At this stage, during the Olympic period, we expect to be making the bulk of our deliveries between 0200 and 0700 to those clients who are able to receive goods during these times and want a "no fail guarantee".
"We will also be extending the sales office opening hours to ensure our customers continue to receive the award winning customer service they have come to expect from the team here at Jascots."
