JACK SCOTT
After school a spell at one of the popular high street wine shops was followed by the vendange in Margaux in the illustrious 1982 vintage.
Returning to London, I ran a boutique wine shop for 18 months before my big career break in 1985 when I joined a proper Wine Merchant in The City. In 1990, I set up Jascots Wine Merchants and here I am 20 years later with a fabulous team of dedicated individuals more or less doing the same thing, finding great wines at fair prices and providing them with an emphasis on first class service.

was promptly shelved when Ben visited the

European Broking Desk but when offered a
position at Jascots in 2000 Ben jumped at
the chance. He became a Director in 2007 and

Julia Strachan
Julia arrived in the middle of the
unparalleled 2005 Vintage making it a doubly
fantastic year for Jascots! It was in
Champagne working with Moet and Chandon that
Jules first decided upon a career in wine.
Right from the off Jules doubled as
salesperson and company counsellor so it is
no surprise that she has recently joined the
management team.
