This stands out as being one of the most amazing deals we have ever done! A 10 year old Gran Reserva Rioja of this quality should be twice the price!
It still tastes surprisingly youthful for a 10 year old wine with really bright fruit flavours in the foretaste and there is the divine envelope of cashmere oak flavours, the Mink Coat of the Wine World on the palate with overtones of ultra supple, smooth cherry and brambley fruit.
This is special and affordable and drinks beautifully with white and red meats and, most surprisingly, it is also delicious with fish including Salmon!…..buy it without hesitation.
