Negroamaro is one of the most important varieties in Puglia in southern Italy, where it is almost exclusively grown. It produces some of the best red wines in Puglia, particularly in when blended with other native grapes.The grapes produce wines deep in colour that taste sweet and velvety but can age quite rapidly.
