Goleta
This family run winery has been making wine for four generations. The fruit is sourced from the Chilean Central Valley, where the climate can be described as Mediterranean, with warm, dry summers and low rainfall mostly restricted to winter. Sunshine hours during the ripening period are long, but tempered by the cooling effect of the Humboldt current and the Pacific ensuring the grapes do not overheat. The high levels of sunshine and warmth ensure that grapes reach the ideal level of ripeness, year in year out, while the tempering coastal influences retain balance in the fruit through acidity and freshness.
