Bolney Wine Estate
A family business spanning three generations, based in Sussex, England. The Estate specialises in premium red, white rosé and English sparkling.
Bolney’s story began in 1972, when owners and founders Janet and Rodney Pratt purchased the land and began their vineyard journey. In 1973 the first 1,000 vines were planted across three acres to create what was then only the sixth commercial vineyard in England. Fast forward to today, and the estate have many an accolade to their name, In  2012  they won ‘UK Wine Producer of the Year’ as well as Gold for the ‘Blanc de Blanc 2007’ in the International Wine and Spirit Competition. In  2015  their Pinot Gris became the first ever English Wine to be served at Wimbledon. In  2017  they won ‘Winery of the Year’, and Gold in the United Kingdom Vineyard Association Competition. And in  2019  they had the pleasure of welcoming HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, who officially opened the new state-of-the-art winery.
Bolney pride themselves on being “Guided by Nature since 1972”. The estate mulch prunings back into the soil and use a biofilter to recycle water used in spraying. They also source materials from local suppliers where possible.
