Cotes du Jura Les Sarres Chardonnay, Vins Rijckaert, Jura, France 2020
Jura, France
Tasting Notes
This wine is the best way to explain what is a Chardonnay in the Jura…. The aromas are crispy and fresh, expressing a lot of ripe yellow fruits pear, plum, citrus and some salty notes. The structure is rich and round (the fact that the Jura is a cold vineyard does not prevent to harvest ripe grapes...), but unbelievably fresh, focused on a great minerality, nearly saline!
