Champagne Pommery Brut Royal, Champagne Pommery, Reims, France NV
Champagne, France
Tasting Notes
With a blend which emphasizes the Chardonnay grape, Brut Royal is made lively thanks to the flavours of fleshy fruit and little berries. From 40 selected villages in the Cote des Blancs and Montagne de Reims and other areas in the Champagne region where the liveliness and delicacy of the Chardonnay grape is enhanced by the climate. Its freshness, with its hints of citrus and white flowers, is made possible by its first fermentation which, because it is conducted at a low temperature (16?), prevents the subtle flavours from escaping.
