Trebbiano di Lugana

Despite its name, Trebbiano di Lugana is not related to Trebbiano, but is in actual fact an alternative name for Verddichio. It traditionally produces wines of mouthwatering acidity and citrus flavours, particularly lemon, and often displays a bitter, almondy finish. Grown in the warm surroundings of Lugana, it is a full-bodied wine of real interest and character.
