Rocca Vini

Five generations of the Rocca Family have handed down the passion for ageing wines in oak barrels. The delicate choice of letting wines to refine silently in our winery, the patient waiting and the definition of the right moment to bottle has always been fascinating moments and reason of excitement. Matured experiences, together with the joy of handing them down, ensure the production of wines of a unique nature, which is by now recognized in over 40 countries. The Rocca farm is composed by ‘’Don Cataldo’’ and ‘’Vignali Grandi’’ estates, approximately 100 hectares, is located at around three kilometres far from the splendid Ionian coast, in Leverano, in the heart of Salento.The land is an average blend of clayey-calcareous soil, even tufaceous in some points.The influence of the sea and the warm weather typically Mediterranean together with passion in management, modern technologies and a great care in grapes’ selection, allows a constant production of an excellent level.
