Bodegas Montevannos
Located in Baños de Valderardos (Burgos), a rich and generous land in the highest area of Ribera Del Duero, over 900meters above sea level, next to a 2000 year old Ancient Roman archaeologist site. Which shows the grape growing and wine making tradition goes back thousands of years and this defines the quality of their wines. Bodegas Montevannos was established only in 1987, the estate covers about 200 hectares and three quarters of the terrain was planted before 1950 with Tempranillo. Above 50 hectares of the vines are planted at high altitude which regulates the temperature of the hot and harsh climate in Ribera Del Duero. They invest a large amount of time, great care and precision into their unique character and strong personality of their wines while holding up the old tradition of the Ancient Romans and this shows through to the finished product across their whole range.
