Château Teyssier

Château Teyssier situated in Saint-Emilion has been producing wine since the 1700’s and at one stage in the 1800’s it was the largest estate in the area. By the time Jonathan and Lyn Maltus bought the château in the 1990’s it was a mere 5 hectares of run down vineyard. Immediately they set about doing an extensive renovation and investing in new technology and state-of-the-art equipment. Right from the vineyard, estate, barrels, vinery to the cellar. Château Teyssier is now regarded as a new wave, modern style wine from Saint-Émilion. Definitely a property to keep an eye on!
