Tiefenbrunner
The Tiefenbrunner Schlosskellerei Turmhof Wine Estate in Entiklar has proved that over the generations, as one of the oldest wine estates in South Tyrol, it is a living combination of the art of the vintner, tradition and innovation.
Now in the fifth generation of running the estate, Sabine and Christof continue the commitment to progress, and see the legacy of the Castel Turmhof Wine Estate as a real privilege and as a duty to continue to write the story for the next generations to come.
The estate makes wines to stand out, each wine from the estate has a distinctive character with a personality of its own, shaped by their origins and history.
Sabine and Christof apply reason and moderation to their work, limiting yields which are key to quality and ensuring that the process is environmentally friendly.
Sustainability
Nature is the driving force for the Castel Turmhof Wine Estate, for over a century the family have generated energy with their own hydropower plant. Although some modern upgrades have been made, the ethos behind sustainable energy remains the same, "Sustainability means having an eye for the next generation in all we do" - Herbert Tiefenbrunner.
