Dalfarras
Made at the famous Tahbilk winery in Victoria, Dalfarras is a project between Alister Purbrick, 4th generation winemaker and owner of Tahbilk, and his wife Rosa. Rosa is an artist by profession - the range is named for her maiden name, Dal Farra and she designs the eye-catching labels. Tahbilk is one of only 8 wineries in the world that is carboNZero accredited, meaning all of their wines are certified carbon neutral, achieved by a transparent approach to measuring, reducing and offsetting residual emissions. Tahbilk has reduced carbon emissions by 45% since 2013 and offsets the residual impact by revegetating 160ha of the estate’s land, plus the purchase of carbon credits. It is the only winery in Australia to be 100% carbon neutral accredited.
