Domaine des Poncetys

Domaine des Poncetys is placed at the heart of the wine school at Mâcon-Davayé in Saint Véran towards the southern end of Burgundy, at the junction of three well-known areas, Burgundy, Bresse and Beaujolais, and is deeply-rooted in history and world famous heritage. The prestigious Poncetys Wine High School of Mâcon-Davayé was created in the early 60s and is split into two parts, the vineyard/winery and a goat dairy farm. The winery operates nearly 16 hectares of vines that are spread across Saint Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon-Davayé, where students are put under strict observation starting from caring for the vines all the way through to the science of winemaking - as a result each and every year they produce wine of outstandingly high quality.
