Château Bellevue

Located next to Saint-Emilion on the right bank of the Garonne, this tiny 6 hectare micro-vineyard is managed and run entirely by our chum Renaud Le Coq, an independent Bordeaux negoçiant.His vineyards are 100% Merlot, harvested traditionally and fermented under temperature control conditions in stainless steel. Wines are then aged separately before release in seven different types of French oak barrels before being blended with Renaud's expert attention to detail, in the traditional house style of Chateau Bellevue.This 100% Merlot is typical of wines from Bordeaux's right bank and reflects the grape's affinity with the specific clay-dominated terroir found on this side of the river.
