Château Haut Caillou

A small, 7ha property in Lalande de Pomerol on Bordeaux’s right bank, located in the town of Néac, run by Laurent Rousseau since 2002, the most recent of a long line of vignerons from the Rousseau family. Highly acclaimed by his peers, Laurent has won the highly acclaimed ‘best up and coming grower’ (2002) and ‘best grower’ (2006) awards.Laurent follows environmentally friendly methods wherever possible, and in 2008 was recognised for his efforts by the French Government when he was awarded the ‘Outstanding Enterprise Award’ for sustainable development. His creed is "Maximum respect for what the vine gives you."
