De Bortoli Wines is a family wine company that is now in its third generation. First established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928 when the couple moved across the world to Australia from the historic town of Asolo at the foothills of the Italian Alps.Through time their son, Deen De Bortli, expanded and elaborated the business started by his parents. Deen’s children then went on to establish De Bortoli’s reputation for premium wine including their iconic dessert wine Noble One and the Yarra Valley Wines. Each family member is involved in the running of the buienne which is overseen by Managing Director Darren De Bortoli and Leanne De Bortoli’s winemaker husband Steve Webber.The Italian family values still play a very large part in the core values of the company, there is a culture of hard work, generosity of spirit and of sharing good food, good wine and good times with family and friends.
