Domaine de la Maurelle

A vineyard that has been owned by the Daniel family since 1753 and is located in Gigondas at an altitude of 300m above sea level on the Dentelles de Montmirail. The Dentelles de Montmirail is a very unusual mountain range, which emerged at the same time as the Pyrenees and the Alps, creating a unique terroir for wine. The elevated location protects the vines from disease, this helps the winemaking process to be as pure and natural as possible. Together with this and the know-how handed down generations produces a powerful and pure wine. At Domaine de la Maurelle they are fully committed to protecting the terroir. With their sustainable development police they will continue to minimise the impact on the environment and strive to produce pure and natural wines.
