Rocca dei Bottari

Rocca dei Bottari winery was founded in 1989 by oenologist Rino Moretti, who was one of the co-founders of Casal Thaulero, the first winery in Abruzzi who launched on the market the 750 ml bottle. In the beginning, the company acted as a service company for all the other cellars. Only at the beginning of 2000 they started bottling and promote their own brands in the market. The winery produces an average quantity of 9.000 hl of wines which means more than 1.200.000 bottles per year across different labels where more than 80% of the wine production is exported.
