Melon de Bourgogne
Melon de Bourgogne, is a white grape varietal grown in the western Loire Valley. It is best known as Muscadet where it makes light, dry and refreshing white wines with characteristic green apple and citrus fruit flavours. Extra richness is often given by the Sur Lie method which involves aging the wines on its lees to add a touch of roundness.
