Monte Tondo
Vine-grower Gino Magnabosco, together with his family,continues wine-making in the best traditions handed down by his ancestors over three generations - a love for the land and the knowledge that the best results can only be obtained by hard work, determination and experience. Just like skilled craftsmen, they carefully and conscientiously follow production from vineyard to bottle, attentive to any new technological improvement in order to guarantee wine of the best quality at all times, reflective of its sense of place. Vines are cultivated on trellises on typical local volcanic soils and undergo a rigorous selection process.The Corte del Sole Soave Classico vineyards can be found nestled in the gentle hills of Soave, just a few kilometres from Verona on deep, calcareous slopes overlooking the valley. Cultivated in three prestigious sites (Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino and Monte Tondo - from whence the estate is named), grapes are hand-picked in late September - early October, and then cold macerated for approximately 12 hours, soft pressed and fermented in stainless steel with local, native yeasts.
