Pouilly-Fuissé 'Les Grands Climats' 2015, Domaine de la Chapelle, Burgundy 2015
Mâconnais, France
Tasting Notes
In an estate where the average age of the vines is over 50 years, Les Grands Climats' vines are viewed as young at the tender age of 21! Nevertheless the wine is superb and rivals some of its neighbours in the nearby Cote d'Or at a more reasonable price.
Fabulous notes of baked apples, creamy vanilla and toasty oak. The terrific intensity of fruit is all rounded off and complemented by superb balance and excellent length.
