Tasting Notes
Alfred Gratien Brut Non-Vintage. This Brut is a non-vintage blend sourced from various Grand and Premier Cru sites around Épernay, predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, and a tinier amount of Pinot Noir. Chardonnay offers bright aromas of pear and apple, accompanied by pinpoint acidity and a graceful, mineral-driven clarity. Pinot Meunier adds approachable fruitiness and body, while Pinot Noir contributes structure and spice. Barrel-aged base wines, fermented in oak, impart breadth and gentle spice, and extra time on lees amplifies bready, toasty character. The overall profile is lively, rounded, and textured, with minerality, savoury depth, and a long finish.
