Tasting Notes
Alfred Gratien Brut Rose Non-Vintage. This non-vintage rosé boasts a finely tuned blend, showcasing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards around Épernay. Chardonnay contributes zesty lemon and crisp acidity, Pinot Noir lends ripe cherries, and Pinot Meunier imparts juicy, fruity generosity and a plush texture. A discreet oak fermentation imparts delicacy and structure without masking the fruit. The extended bottle aging (approximately 48 months) develops subtle, biscuit-like, and spicy nuances, along with a saline-mineral finish characteristic of high-quality Champagne rosés. It’s vivacious, creamy, and food-friendly, striking a beautiful harmony between freshness and complexity.
