Alfred Gratien Brut Rose NV, Champagne, France NV

Champagne, France

AGRATBRUTROSNV

Tasting Notes

Pretty in pink! A classic delicate, gourmet rose champagne. The blend is typically 46% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 34% Pinot Meunier. Aromatically, this is all about the fresh red fruits - cherry, pink grapefruit, allied to a streak of bracing minerality. The base wine’s sojourn in oak barrel is a subtle touch rather than overt. To taste, it is consistent and true, with a base of refreshing acidity, and layers of red fruit and biscuit. The finish is clean, crisp and delicately salty with a satisfying mineral twang.
