Wakefield Wines St Andrews Shiraz 2019. From the Yarra Valley, this vintage reflects an elegant and composed Shiraz that will continue to gain complexity over the next decade. Fermented with a high proportion of whole bunches and wild yeast, it underwent a gentle, extended maceration before maturation in seasoned French oak. This approach favours texture and purity, resulting in a finely structured, mineral-driven wine of quiet intensity.
