AMELLMOUSSBLAN23

Tasting Notes

Alphonse Mellot La Moussière Blanc 2023. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is produced from a mixture of old and young vines, ranging from 4 - 40 years old, that are grown on Kimmeridgian marne and is certified Organic and Biodynamic. 50% of the wine is barrel fermented and spends 8 months ageing on the fine lees. Expect aromas of green apple, gooseberry and kiwi. On the palate, it is ripe and rich with a lively refreshing mouthfeel. Well-balanced flavours of grapefruit, stone fruits and the classic Sancerre minerality.
