Tasting Notes
Wilson Vineyard’s The Crusher Pinot Noir 2020. Situated in a hot, narrow valley adjacent to the Sacramento Delta, the vineyard benefits from cool evening breezes that flow down the river, creating ideal conditions for growing this typically cool-climate grape variety. This wine is a bright red hue with layered aromas of smoke and cherry. On the palate, cranberry and rhubarb fruit notes come through, along with floral notes such as roses, with subtle hints of dark chocolate. This is a well-balanced wine that boasts intense fruit, smooth acidity, and tannins, resulting in a lengthy finish. Aged with 100% French oak.
