Castelvecchio Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 2022. The ancient Friulian varietal Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso flourishes in soils rich in iron and limestone, typical of the Karst terroir. Stainless steel fermentation is followed by a year in small barriques and another in larger oak to gently soften the tannins. Deep ruby red, incredible fruit concentration of morello cherries, with a rounded body and bitter finish.
