Tasting Notes
Castelvecchio Sauvignon 2023. This wine is well-known for its arid and rocky soils, with a strong influence from the nearby Adriatic sea ideal for this varietal. Gently pressed grapes and maturation sur lie in stainless steel tanks with light filtration. This wine is aromatic with spicy scents of grapefruit and white peach. The flavour is characteristically full and ripe with great structure and a slight saltiness on the finish typical for Karst terroir.
