Wakefield Wines Jaraman Shiraz 2021. The 2021 Shiraz delivers complexity and is a blend of Shiraz grapes from the Clare Valley and McLaren Vale. The Clare Valley contributes elegance and structure, while McLaren Vale adds richness and depth of flavor. The 2021 vintage faced challenging weather conditions, but the vines demonstrated resilience, yielding wines with intense flavors and vibrant colors. The wine was matured for 14 months in French oak barrels, enhancing its complexity. Fragrant with notes of plum, clove, and dark florals, the wine unfolds into a layered palate of black cherry and charry oak. Full-bodied and finely balanced, it finishes with intensity.
