Tasting Notes
Alfred Gratien Brut Millesime 2016. It is a classic vintage Champagne from a ripe, refined year. This Brut Millesime captures the essence of Champagne's terroir in outstanding years. Vinification and aging reflect Alfred Gratien's tradition, utilizing small oak barrels and avoiding malolactic fermentation, which emphasizes mineral transparency and freshness. With lively orchard fruit, fine lees texture, and integrated toasty notes, it is harmonious, complete, and showing excellent potential for mid-term aging. On the palette, there are many notes of apricots and plums. On the nose, candied fruits, such as mandarin, or even tarts, and coffee.
