Valdegarú Rioja, Bodegas Obergo, Somontano, Aragon, Spain 2022

Northern Spain, Spain

Tasting Notes

Bodegas Obergo Valdegaru Rioja 2022. Although Rioja is traditionally associated with oak ageing, this interpretation from Obergo focuses on balance and finesse. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled vats to ensure gentle extraction. The wine spends time in a mix of French and American oak barrels, imparting structure and subtle complexity, before resting in bottle to harmonize its elements.
