Tasting Notes

Heritage du Pic Saint-Loup Sainte Agnes Rouge 2021. This is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan from limestone soils and then aged for 12-14 months in French oak. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits such as cherry and redcurrant, alongside black olives, evolving toward spicy notes of pepper, clove, and bay leaf. On the palate, flavors of tobacco, red fruits, and menthol emerge. The finish is ample, marked by freshness and fine, elegant tannins.
