Sicily and Islands, Italy

BDVETMONAR23

Tasting Notes

Etna Rosso DOC Monte Arso 2023. Made primarily from Nerello Mascalese with a blend of Nerello Cappuccio and Mantellato, shows a bright, fluid ruby-red color. The nose is elegant and expressive, offering floral notes of violet and fresh woodland fruit, followed by subtle herbaceous hints. On the palate, it is tannic yet refined, balanced by lively acidity and a persistent freshness that highlights its mineral character. Aged for 12 months in 500-liter chestnut barrels, this wine reflects the harmony between structure and finesse that defines the Etna terroir.
