Daniel Chotard
The Chotard family have been producing wine in Sancerre for over 200 years and span approximately 15 ha. Their estate is located at the foot of Reigny, in Crézancy-en-Sancerre, surrounded by a circle of clay-limestone Kimeridgian marl hills.  They work the vines while trying to respect nature as much as possible and preserve the vines harvesting by hand, in order to make the most of the grape varieties and terroir. Thus the soil is worked from the end of winter, which enables them to work organically, without the use of weedkillers.
