Tasting Notes
Spier 21 Gables Cabernet Sauvignon 2019. Set on the last farm before the crest of Helderberg in Stellenbosch, these old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive on the northerly slopes and cooled by Atlantic breezes that slow down the ripening process. The 2019 vintage features notes of cassis and violet, with hints of cedar aromas. The palate is smooth yet has robust tannins. Structured and classy, this wine can be drank now or left to age for up to 15 years.
