Tasting Notes
Spier Savanha Merlot 2023. This is a fruit-driven Merlot, with layers of spice and dark fruit on the palate, and supported by a soft tannin structure. The grapes were destemmed and crushed into stainless steel tanks for 2 days, then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Overall, this is an elegant expression of a balanced Merlot wine with a harminous finish.
